Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Your Season 2 Predictions — With Some Good News

The much-anticipated Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel launches on Prime Video soon, and audience theories has been widespread.

The first season introduces a large cast of personalities living within Hell and Heaven, pits them against each other with songs detailing their conflicts, and builds heated competitions and emotional bonds that fuel fan obsession.

The community's expectations for season 2 vary widely, but certain threads recur frequently: Could a fan-favorite character escape his tormentor? Will we find out more about the mysterious "deal" affecting the enigmatic Alastor? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Naturally, I don't produce the show with audience demands specifically in mind," the creator stated recently. "But I feel like me being a fan of my own show implies there's a lot of it just inherently. I also am eager for these things, and I want some of these things to happen, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator reveals her big-picture plan is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have already been green-lit by the production companies, which produce the series.

That might mean fans have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how fast the new season progresses, and how much of what they're waiting for happens now.

"I believe people are going to be highly satisfied," she adds. "There are several debut moments. I think we receive some really amazing disclosures, some fascinating origin tales, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience much more singing from the previously silent cast members."

The creator is well-informed of the guesses and hopes about the upcoming season — particularly in the form of audience prediction charts.

"I've come across a couple people create a prediction grid about season 2," she says. "Naturally I won't share it, but I've actually done some of them, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season premieres on the streaming service on October 29.
